The Sisterhood of Radcliffe
|
(virtual event, Feb 22, 2022) |
In this fireside chat, two members of the Harvard-Radcliffe Class of 1979, Dorien Nunez and Cynthia Plouché, discussed a podcast series that will track the life and careers of a group of our classmates. Here is video of this fireside chat.
Cynthia is the founder of The Alzenia Project, whose mission is to help young women, particularly women of color, achieve personal and professional success. Dorien interviewed her about Alzenia's Sisterhood of Radcliffe podcast.
The goal of this podcast series is to inspire young people about the importance of academic achievement, social interaction, networking, and mentorship. Through ten episodes it will share the stories of a group of extraordinary Black women who forged an inseparable bond when they met, over 40 years ago, as incoming freshmen at Harvard-Radcliffe in 1975. We were inspired by the story of these friends who supported each other through the years and now seek to pay it forward.
